Our staff brings with them 30 years experience and expertise in firefighting, security/loss prevention, and customer service. Besides our love for animals, we want you to be comfortable knowing that while you're away, your pets and property are safe and being cared for just as if you were there watching over them.


We have our own pets and know how stressful finding a reliable and trusted pet sitter can be!

Staff Bios


Co-Owner, Micki Poissant, has been an animal lover since childhood. Micki is a responsible and dependable person with experience in animal care and ownership of turtles, birds (parakeets, cockatiels, love birds, canaries), dogs (large, medium and small breeds), cats, guinea pigs, mice, and horses. Micki presently has 1 dog (a shiba inu) and enjoys teaching obedience training to those interested in basic dog training or puppy training. She is also an active person and has participated in several triathelons, marathons, cycling events, and 5k and 10k events in various states and here locally.  Micki has several certifications in pet first aid with the American Red Cross and a 3 year  certification with NAPPS (National Association of Professional Petsitters), which she is an active member.




Co-Owner, Mike Ziegler, has also been an animal lover since childhood. 

 Mike is a retired Westminster firefighter and a retired Loss Prevention Manager with a well-known retail store. For a few years while holding down his 2 jobs, Mike was on the Sheriff's Department as well. Mike has cared and owned several pets over the years, including pot-bellied pigs, sugar gliders (flying squirrel), and dogs (Akitas, Huskies and Malamutes, Shiba Inus). His dedication to the community and his dedication to the fire department has earned him several awards with the fire department (Mike saved a fellow fire fighter's life a few years ago). Mike is also a certified instructor in pet first aid with CPR for Canines and a certified shark feeder (certification completed on 4/12/11).

Penny is one of our Independent Contractors, she started with
All Clawz N Pawz, LLC on October 2011.  Penny enjoys working out
and is the owner of 3 dogs, a black lab, a chocolate lab and a doberman. Penny is very detailed oriented and great with all kinds of animals. She is pet first aid certified and she volunteers at a local animal shelter in her spare time.














Lisa is another one of our Independent Contractors. She started

working for All Clawz N Pawz, LLC on September 2013. Lisa has two

dogs and she's married to a dedicated firefighter. Lisa is also the mother of 2 small children.  She also has a few aquariums.

She's great with all kinds of animals and she is very patient and kind with pets that are shy or skiddish.  Lisa loves to learn all she can

about animal behavior and she learns quickly!  We are delighted to

have her on our team!


















Melanie is our newest member of Independent Contractors.  She

started working in August 2014.  Melanie is a graduate of CSU,

she has a B.S. in Wildlife Biology.  She enjoys learning all she

can about animals.  In her free time, Melanie enjoys horseback-

riding and volunteers at wildlife sanctuaries.  She owns a hamster

and a parakeet.  We are excited to have Melanie on our team, she

brings a world of information about mammals on our planet!
